Using CHAC
CHAC is a Chinese character learning tool provided by VOGTOV. You may use it for personal, non-commercial learning. You must use it lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or its content.
Learning content
CHAC provides educational material, including character information, pronunciation support, and memory cues. It is not a substitute for professional translation, teaching, examination, or certification advice. Learning results vary between people.
Your device and progress
CHAC's current version stores progress on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your device and any backups. VOGTOV cannot recover local progress that is deleted, lost, or unavailable after you change or reset a device.
Ad-free purchases
CHAC may offer optional monthly or yearly auto-renewing plans and a lifetime one-time purchase to remove advertising. Apple or Google processes the transaction through your store account. The store's terms govern billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds and payment details. You can restore purchases or manage a recurring plan from Profile in CHAC.
Availability and changes
CHAC is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. VOGTOV may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. These terms will be updated if a material product change requires it.
Intellectual property
CHAC's original app design, original learning copy, and branding are owned by VOGTOV or its licensors. Chinese characters, language facts, and public historical material remain subject to their respective legal status and sources.
