Delete it yourself
- Open the Vogtov account page and sign in.
- In your account home, select Delete account.
- Select Confirm delete account to complete the deletion.
Firebase may require you to sign in again if your last authentication is no longer recent. This protects an unattended session from deleting the account.
What is deleted
Deletion removes the Firebase Authentication identity used by Vogtov, including its email address, display name, and user identifier. The current account release does not yet store points, followed worlds, or revival activity.
Google states that deleted Firebase Authentication information is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days. Short-lived security logs, including logged IP addresses, may follow their own limited retention period.
What is not deleted
A Vogtov account is separate from TUD, CHAC, Scitong, and other worlds. Deleting it does not delete an account or data held by those services.
If you cannot sign in
First try the password-reset link on the account page. If you still cannot access the account, email pim@vogtov.com from the account email address. Vogtov will verify ownership before processing a manual deletion request.
